The wiring is the best part though, because of its thicker gauge it is already harder to cut than your standard outdoor lighting wiring. But with Coastal Source the wires come in 5’, 10’, 25’ sections that all connect together which means that if a wire does somehow manage to get cut we would only have to replace that one section instead of all of it to bring them back online again. They also integrate seamlessly with all automation systems.

Also known as centralized lighting, Control4 Panelized Lighting is a variation on the typical line-voltage infrastructure, which has been used in homes and businesses for years. Panelized lighting utilizes a centralized/star wiring configuration, where circuits from the breaker box are routed first to a centrally-located enclosure (panel), which houses dimmer, relay, and other system control modules. From there, the switched/dimmed circuits are routed directly to the loads. Control of loads in a panelized lighting system is achieved with low-voltage keypads, located in key areas throughout the home or business.
